ELECTROMAGNETIC COUPLER AND INFORMATION COMMUNICATION DEVICE MOUNTED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic coupler capable of increasing coupling strength and widening coupling range and making a frequency bandwidth to be used a wideband even if the electromagnetic coupler is made thin.

SOLUTION: An electromagnetic coupler comprises: an electrically conductive pattern 11 formed on a first plane; a power feeding pattern 13 formed on a second plane parallel to the first plane and connected to a power feeding system 12; a ground pattern 14 formed on the second plane spaced from the feeding pattern 13 and grounded; a first linear conductor 15 formed perpendicularly to the first and second planes and connecting the electrically conductive pattern 11 and the feeding pattern 13; and a plurality of second linear conductors 16 formed perpendicularly to the first and second planes and connecting the electrically conductive pattern 11 and the ground pattern 14. The electrically conductive pattern 11 is formed in a shape of a point symmetry with respect to a connecting point with the first linear conductor 15 and the plurality of second linear conductors 16 are formed at positions of a point symmetry with respect to the first linear conductor 15 in a plan view.
