The invention relates to herbicidal agents having an active content of flufenacet and another herbicide, namely pendimethalin. Said herbicidal agents have an improved range of application with respect to: an improvement in the versatility of application of the active ingredients up to the post emergence of the cultivated plants and weeds; said herbicidal action on the weeds and the compatibility with cultivated plants is improved; the versatility of application of the active ingredients improves which allows the application prior to sowing the cultivated plants; said herbicidal action on the weeds during sowing is comparable to the PE application and the action and cultivated plant compatibility is improved; an improvement in the efficacy in soils having different soil properties; an improvement in the versatility of application of the mixture on various types of soils; an improvement in the action of the mixture and cultivated plant compatibility, in particular in soils having a high organic substance content; an improvement in the efficacy on resistant types of weeds; an improvement in the efficacy against TSR and EMR of resistant plant types; said mixture is suitable for an effective resistance management; an improvement in the efficacy with different irrigations; an improvement in the efficacy and cultivated plant compatibility with different irrigations; said mixture compensates for possible action losses due to gas phases and washing out of the active ingredients; an improvement in efficacy at various sowing depths; an improvement in efficacy at various sowing depths due to the mixture and also an improvement in the cultivated plant compatibility.
