Producing a composite plate, comprises (a) applying a first adhesive agent (2) on a stone plate (1), (b) interspersing a mixture in the adhesive agent, (c) removing the excess stone material (3), (d) applying a second adhesive agent (4) on the remaining stone material, (e) curing the second adhesive and applying a layer of cementitious material (5), and (f) curing the cementitious material, and cutting the composite plate, or carrying out the steps (a)-(d), (ei) sprinkling the second adhesive agent with stone material, and (fi) curing the second adhesive agent, and cutting the plate. Producing a composite plate comprising a thin natural stone plate and an armor bonded with this, comprises (a) applying a first adhesive agent (2) on the entire surface of a not yet dimensionally cut natural stone plate (1), (b) interspersing a mixture made of finely crushed stone and powder grated stone in the liquid adhesive agent, (c) removing the optionally present, excess stone material (3), (d) applying a second adhesive agent (4) on the remaining stone material, (e) curing the second adhesive and applying a leveling layer of cementitious material (5), and (f) curing the cementitious material, and cutting the composite plate to the desired surface measure, or carrying out the steps (a)-(d), (ei) sprinkling the liquid second adhesive agent with finely ground stone material, and (fi) curing the second adhesive agent and cutting the composite plate to the desired surface measure. An independent claim is also included for the composite plates produced by the above mentioned method, where (i) the composite plate produced by the steps (a)-(f) comprises the armor comprising the mixture of finely crushed stone and powder grated stone and the subsequent layer of cementitious material extending outwardly, (ii) the stone material is bonded with the natural stone plate through the first adhesive agent, (iii) the second adhesive agent is arranged between the stone material and the layer of cementitious material, and (iv) the edges of the composite plate are cut, (v) the composite plate produced by the steps (a)-(fi), comprises the armor comprising the mixture of finely crushed stone and powder grated stone , which is bonded with the natural stone plate through the first adhesive agent, and (vi) a scattered, finely ground stone material is fixed on the back side surface of the composite plate by means of the second adhesive agent, which is applied on the composite, and (vii) the edges of the composite plate are cut.
