The stabilizer has an actuator (13) for rotation of two tubular-shaped stabilizer halves (11, 11') relative to each other. The stabilizer halves are attached at mounting portions (19, 19') of the actuator by gearings (47, 49) and circlips (45, 45') i.e. retaining rings. One of the stabilizer halves comprises an annular groove (51), and each mounting portion of the actuator includes another annular groove (53). The circlips are partly accommodated in the annular grooves. The gearings comprise involute edges. The actuator includes an electromotor (21) and a reduction gear (23).
