<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost converter that has a function for improving a power factor, and that can reduce a high harmonic wave current and reduce switching loss and noise. <P>SOLUTION: A converter has: a series circuit connected with both ends of an input smoothing capacitor Ci that smooths a rectified voltage from a rectifier circuit DB, and in which a first switching element Q1 and a second switching element Q2 are connected in series; a series circuit connected with a connection point between the first switching element and the second switching element and one end of the input smoothing capacitor, and in which a primary coil P and a first capacitor Cri are connected in series; a control circuit 1 that turns the first switching element and the second switching element on and off alternately; a rectifying and smoothing circuit D1 and Co that rectifies and smooths a high frequency wave voltage generated in a secondary coil S1 to extract a direct-current output voltage; and a second capacitor Crb connected between a connection point between the primary coil and the first capacitor, and one end of an alternating-current power supply AC. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
