<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a smoke detection device of an elevator having a smoke detector the lid of which can not be opened while a car is running. <P>SOLUTION: The smoke detection device of the elevator has a smoke detector 52, which elevates the car 5, and also which is arranged in a hoistway 3. The device includes: an inspection lid 54, which has a cylinder 54u, and also which is openable and closable for inspection of the smoke detector 52; an actuator 56, which has a rod 56a, and also which has a solenoid 56L for engaging the rod 56a with the cylinder 54u to keep a closing state of the lid 54; and a control unit 30 for operating the solenoid 56L based on a running signal of the car to keep the closing state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
