<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealant for a cask having high compressibility equal to a conventional sealant for a cask made of rubber sponge, hardly causing permanent set, and having no fear of corroding the cask when salinity in seawater and rainwater infiltrate. <P>SOLUTION: This sealant includes a substrate part placed on a surface of one side member of opposed two members in a cross section, a cross-sectional substantially arched body part extended toward a surface of the other side member from the substrate part, and a cross-sectional substantially D-shaped hollow part partitioned by the substrate part and the body part. The whole of the sealant for the cask is formed of a rubber plate, and a gas flow passage is formed so as to be constituted for connecting a hollow part and an outside space when installing the sealant for the cask between the opposed two members. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
