<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device and the like that can achieve high resolution while maintaining high aperture ratio. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises a first transparent substrate (301), a second transparent substrate (302) facing the first transparent substrate, an insulation layer (304) formed on the second transparent substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes (20) arranged in matrix on the insulation layer, a counter electrode (24) with a predetermined potential formed on the first transparent substrate so as to face the pixel electrode, a liquid crystal layer (303) existing between the pixel electrode and the counter electrode, pixel circuits (305 and 306) formed on an upper side plane of the second transparent substrate and applying voltage to the pixel electrode, and at least one parallel electrode (307') in parallel to the pixel electrode (20) in the insulation layer (304). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
