The present invention pertains to a method for manufacturing a coupling nut which is used in the assembling of electric and electronic products, which comprises: a blanking step (S100) of cutting sheet material (10) into a predetermined size; a primary drawing step (S200) of drawing the sheet material (10) cut in the blanking step so as to form a cylindrical body (10A), of which a top portion is opened; a secondary drawing step (S300) of drawing the lower end of the cylindrical body (10A) so as to form a screw portion (10A'); a plastic working step (S400) of reducing the thickness of the cylindrical body (10A) except for the screw portion (10A') and forming a flange portion (20) at the upper end thereof; a piercing step (S500) of penetrating the bottom surface of the screw portion (10A'); a slitting step (S600) of punching portions between the cylindrical body (10A) and flange portion (20) so as to form fixing protrusions (13) inside and outside of the cylindrical body (10A); and a trimming step (S700) of cutting out the outside of the flange portion (20).
