PURPOSE: A solar battery and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce production costs by forming a second electrode layer by using conductive materials cheaper than silver and reducing consumption of the silver. CONSTITUTION: An emitter part(120) is located on the light-receiving surface of a substrate(110). The substrate has a first conductive type and the emitter part has a second conductive type. The emitter part forms p-n junction with the substrate. A plurality of first electrodes(141) locates on the emitter part. A first current collecting part(142) locates on the emitter part to a direction crossing with a plurality of first electrodes. A reflection barrier layer(130) locates on the emitter part in which the first electrode and the first current collecting part does not locate. A second electrode(151) is connected to the substrate.
