Crystal polishing holder

The crystal polishing machine has a polishing wheel (1) covered with polishing clots and impregnated with a polishing material. The crystal holder has a vertical stub on the back. This is gripped by a large circular hole (4) at one end of a polishing arm (3). The other end of the arm has an eccentric drive hole (7). The polishing arm is easily removed simply by lifting off the pivot (5) and replacing the crystal holder. The stub (13) on the rear of the crystal holder has a loose fit inside the hole in the arm, to allow it to rotate freely. The oscillating movement of the crystal holder is taken over the centre of the polishing wheel.
