Compressed air drying assembly with integrated monitoring in processor-controlled adsorption drying unit

An assembly continually fractionates a gas especially air by adsorption. In the process, two (43) adsorbent bed chambers (1, 2) are linked and regenerated from time to time by a gas flow. The chambers (1, 2) have a joint alternating valve gas valve (4) with an inlet (3), and a common outlet (6) operated through a valve (5). Both chambers (1, 2) are linked by a by-pass pipe (7) installed near the outlet (6). Both chambers (1, 2) can be blocked off near the gas outlet (3) and linked to a supplementary outlet (11). The assembly further has a pre-filter (12) in the gas inlet (3) and a filter (14) in the gas outlet (6). The novelty is that: (a) the system consists of a gas inlet (3), a gas outlet (6) and a supplementary gas flow output (11) all linked to a common functional block (16); (b) the common functional block (16) consists of pipe wiring, first (4) and second (5) two-way valves and other components as required. Also claimed is an integrated monitoring assembly in a processor-controlled adsorption drying unit, and a processor-controlled method of checking the operating state.
