The Bourdon tube gauge has a basic body (4) with a long bore, which projects through a wall section (3) of a housing, and is sealingly connected with the edge of the wall section. The end of the basic body that is located in the housing is provided with an arched measuring tube. The end of the basic body that lies outside the housing is formed as a connecting nipple 6 or with a pressure adjuster. The basic body is subdivided in the plane of the wall section, and the two basic body parts (7,8) are sealed together at the interposition of the edge (9) of the wall section. The basic body parts and the edge of the wall section are butt welded to each other.
