A pivot window with a pair of hinges for connecting a sash and a frame, the sash and frame each comprising two side members, a top member and a bottom member defining an aperture, said sash and frame side members are connected by said hinges, respectively, and the sash may be turned in relation to the frame about a pivot axis, which is parallel to the top and bottom members, each of said hinges comprising a first hinge part comprising a base plate having a part circular guide member in the form of a guide channel comprising a concave side and a convex side, a second hinge part comprising a base plate having a part circular slide member adapted for being displaceable in the guide member, wherein the slide member interacts with the guide means and defines the pivot axis for tilting the sash with respect to the frame and provides an electrical connection between the sash and the frame. |
