PURPOSE: An attribute-based BIM information providing method and a system thereof are provided to transmit extraction information and to increase rendered speed by selectively extracting specific information corresponding to attribute information. CONSTITUTION: A DB(36) stores an IFC(Industry Foundation Classes) file about a target building. A control module(32) interprets attribute information about the target building. The control module extracts attribute information of IFC file based on interpretation result. The control module transmits the extracted information to a client.
