PULSE WAVE VELOCITY MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR U-HEALTHCARE USING DUAL-SENSOR AND ELASTIC BAND

PURPOSE: A pulse wave delivery speed measurement system for u-health care is provided to measure a pulse wave and electrocardiogram at the same time with a minimum lead line by packaging a piezoelectric film sensor and an electrocardiogram measurement electrode by using one dual sensor. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of dual sensors(10,20,30) measures a pulse wave and electrocardiogram. The dual sensor is packaged in order to transmit and receive a control signal and a measurement signal through one lead line(14). A bio-signal measuring unit(60) comprises multiple channels for measuring the pulse wave and electrocardiogram. The bio-signal measuring unit outputs a sensor control signal for controlling operation of each sensor. A signal processing/administration unit(100) controls the output of the control signal which is provided to each dual sensor by controlling operation of the bio-signal measuring unit.
