DEMULTIPLEXING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR 3D TV

PURPOSE: A demultiplexing apparatus for a 3D TV and a method thereof are provided to automatically adjust brightness by dividing the demultiplexing method into a light polarizing filter method or a shutter glass method. CONSTITUTION: A demultiplexing method information input unit(130) receives information about the selected demultiplexing method among the selected one or more demultiplexing methods. A luminance information management part(134) manages each basic luminance value about the demultiplexing method. A brightness setting part(133) controls the luminance of video data which becomes demultiplexed by using the basis luminance value according to the information which is inputted about the demultiplexing method.
