The casting cores (22,24) comprise a case that surrounds a liquefiable core material (28) whose softened plastic deformation state is set selectively. The core material is permanently fixed and connected to a soft-elastic and/or dimensionally unstable envelope (26), regardless of degree of solidification of core material during intended operation of casting core. The core material is received in the envelope during change of solid state of core material. A transfer device (38) is arranged between casting-core molding cavity (18) and injection molding cavity (20). An independent claim is included for injection molding method.
