PURPOSE: A battery charger system for a lantern is provided to reduce cost for a battery by charging a battery repeatedly. CONSTITUTION: A collimator(10) comprises a plurality of solar batteries changing sunlight into electrical energy. A charge unit(12) stores the electrical energy provided from the solar cell of the collimator. A charge body(103) comprises a controller(14) controlling operation according to a fixed program. A charge lamp(105) is electrically connected to the controller which is installed inside the charge body. A communications unit(18) transmits a text message to the mobile communications terminal(16) of a user when the charge lamp is turned on.
