PURPOSE: An apparatus for insufflating gas into an endoscope is provided to perform inspection of a colon or a large intestine, and operation by controlling the insertion of a carbon dioxide inserted to a surgical region. CONSTITUTION: An inlet controller(11) controls the amount of a carbon dioxide gas flowed from an entrance. A proportional control valve(12) controls the amount of a gas flowing through a flow sensor(13) or the carbon dioxide. The flow sensor detects the amount of the gas provided through the proportional control valve. A pressure sensor(151) is connected to the flow senor and detects the pressure of the gas in the body. A second open/close valve(154) is operated by a second open/close valve connected to a central processing unit.
