PURPOSE: A contrast composition containing polymer compounds of a radial form is provided to remarkably improve contrast effect lasting time and to reduce body toxicity. CONSTITUTION: A polymer compound of a radial form contains: a core nuclear formed of circular or spherical symmetric low molecular compounds or polymer compounds of a radial form; an iodine-containing compound which is conjugated to the core nuclear directly or through peptides; and a biocompatible polymer which is conjugated to the core nuclear directly or through peptides or is directly conjugated to the iodine-containing compounds. The symmetric low molecular compound is carbohydrate of alpha-, beta-, and gamma-cyclodextrin, glucose, gallactose, mannose, or derivative thereof, porphyrin and derivative thereof, DOTA(1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid) and derivative thereof. |
