METHOD FOR FREQUENCY COMPENSATION AND A S-BAND RECEIVER FOR LOW EARTH ORBIT SATELLITE USING THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A frequency compensation method and an S-band receiver for low earth orbit satellite thereof are provided to compensate the Doppler frequency shift by using the intermediate frequency. CONSTITUTION: A signal receiving unit(11) receives an S-band signal. A local oscillator(13) oscillates local frequency according to an applied voltage. An IF(Intermediate Frequency) generator(15) generates IF by suing the S-band signal and the local frequency. A control unit(17) compares the reference frequency with the IF. The control unit controls the applied voltage to the local oscillator based on the difference between the reference frequency and the IF.
