PURPOSE: A light emitting apparatus is provided to connect a heat protection device between an AC power source and a plurality of light emitting chips, thereby effectively preventing degradation of the light emitting chip due to a temperature increase. CONSTITUTION: A first light emitting chip(150A) and a second light emitting chip(150B) are connected between a first node(n1) and a second node(n2) in series. A third light emitting chip(150C) and a fourth light emitting chip(150D) are connected between the first node and the second node in series. An AC power source(310) periodically changes voltage polarity according to the change of phase. A device(320) for impedance matching is connected between the AC power source and the first or second node. A heat protection device(330) is connected between the AC power source and a plurality of light emitting chips.
