TURBO CHARGER USING SOLAR ENERGY FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A super charging apparatus for a vehicle using the solar power and a control method thereof are provided to generate power itself using solar cell and have a simple structure by using a compressor; thereby the engine power can be improved without other power. CONSTITUTION: A super charging apparatus for a vehicle using the solar power comprises a solar cell(100), a compressor(200), an air tank(400), and a controller(300). The solar cell is mounted on the exterior of a vehicle and transfers the solar energy to electrical energy. The compressor is installed inside the vehicle and supplied electrical energy from the solar cell to generate compression air. The air tank is installed inside the vehicle and receives the compression air from the compressor to always maintain constant pressure. The controller controls a solenoid(410) of the air tank in acceleration to supply the compression air to an intake pipe(I) of an engine(E).
