PURPOSE: A core-shell polymer particle is provided to use for aqueous composition, and to have combination functionality, opacitiy, and energy conservation. CONSTITUTION: A core-shell polymer particle comprises a core, a fist shell, and a second shell. The core comprises at least one pore at drying. The first shell polymer has the glass transition temperature over 50°C. As a polymerization unit, the first shell polymer comprises 15-60 weight% of a monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile, acrylamide, methacrylamide, and their mixtures, and 0.3-10 weight% of a multi-ethylenically unsaturated monomer. The second shell polymer has Tg of (-60) - 50 °C. The weight ratio of the second shell polymer to the all other structures of the polymer particle is 0.5:1 - 3:1.
