PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling a power sequence is provided to stabilize a driving state of a liquid crystal panel by preventing a latch-up phenomenon performing an application or a remove of a voltage to or from a drive IC according to a predetermined sequence. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a power sequence comprises a first DC-to-DC converter (10), a second DC-to-DC converter(12), a switch and a drive integrated circuit. The drive integrated circuit outputs an on/off signal for driving a liquid crystal panel(4), and receives a first voltage and a second voltage. The first voltage is to turn on the liquid crystal panel, and the second voltage is to turn off the liquid crystal panel. An application level and an application timing of the first voltage is determined by a switch according to a level of the second voltage.
