An anti-spill shelf for supporting articles within a cabinet, preferably a refrigerator, which consists in a plate of transparent material; a frame is surrounding the whole periphery of the transparent plate, said frame being formed by an upper frame and a lower frame which are coupled therebetween for retaining, in a sandwich form, said transparent plate; an elastic seal packing of the O-ring-type is arranged between the lower surface of the upper frame and the coincident upper surface of the transparent plate; a groove is formed around the whole lower surface of the upper frame, which is useful for housing the O-ring packing; a plurality of fastening or hooking elements working by snap-fit pressure are arranged around the upper and lower frames for performing the assembly and attachment therebetween.
