PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the sensitivity of a collision detection device to external forces with continuous waveforms of high frequencies due to hammering or the like, while keeping sensitivity with respect to accelerations of low frequency waveforms. SOLUTION: Since a contact plane 61 deviates by 0 deg. to 50 deg. from the direction of application of maximum torque to a body 1 of weight, the direction of drag imparted by a restraint member 6 to the body 1 of weight, when the body 1 of weight abuts against the restraint member 6 deviates by 90 deg. to 40 deg. from the direction of application of the maximum torque to the body 1 of weight. As a result, the moment of force to the body 1 of weight with respect to a rotational axis 2 is kept low, to prevent an on condition between contacts 41, 51. A force in the direction of application of the maximum torque to the body 1 of weight from the restraint member 6 is a minimum, when the normal vector of the contact plane 61 points to the rotational axis 2.
