<p>The system comprises at least one conveyor tract (100, 102) along which a line of containers (C) is made to move forward by means of a pusher action (40a, 40b) applied at one end of the line. Provision is made for the presence of a plurality of transport elements (50) that can be aligned on the said at least one conveyor tract (100, 102) and capable of receiving for transport purposes at least one respective container (C) of the said line, with the containers (C) separated from each other. The transport elements (50) are capable of cooperating with each other in thrust transmission, so that the pushing action applied to the transport elements (50) produces the forward movement of the line of containers (C) while the containers (C) themselves are yet kept separate from each other.
