PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a physical signal from outside without a trouble even in the middle of signal processing by allowing a CPU to execute the program of picture displaying work and that of signal processing on software in parallel at the time of supplying a power source. SOLUTION: All the picture data stored in a ROM 7 is transferred from a graphic IC 8 at the time of supplying power and the transferred and stored picture data is partially read by the graphic IC 8 at need. In this case, the picture data for a moving picture is divided into the portion of each picture to supply picture data of the portion of each picture to a liquid crystal display device 4 and after then, communication is executed with a second external unit 13, both of which are alternately executed. Namely, a CPU 2' reads picture data (first module) for the portion of one picture of the moving picture to display first by an instruction to the graphic IC 8 from a DRAM 9 to supply it to the device 4 and after finishing it, communicates with a first external unit 12.
