PURPOSE: A rotary filtering apparatus is provided to prevent the destruction of a drying unit due to the pressure of a pressure chamber and to prevent the internal pressure of the apparatus from being influenced to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A rotary filtering apparatus includes a pressure chamber(50), a pressure rising part(60), a treating bath(100), a drum unit(110), a cleaning unit(130), and a cake discharging part(160). The pressure rising part rises the pressure of the pressure chamber. The treating bath is located at the inner lower side of the pressure chamber and stores slurry. The drum unit is located in the pressure chamber to be rotatable. A plurality of filters(113) is mounted on the outer circumference of the drum unit. The cleaning unit is adjacently arranged on the outer circumference of the drum unit. A dissolving solution is sprayed by the cleaning unit to dissolve slurry absorbed on the filters. The cake discharging part discharges the cake on the surface of the drum unit to a drier(150). The cake discharging part includes a cake discharging pipe(161), an auxiliary tank(162), and a cake valve(166). One end part of the cake discharging pipe is located at the surface of the drum unit. Another end part of the cake discharging pipe is expanded to the outside of the pressure chamber. The auxiliary tank is mounted at the cake discharging pipe. The cake is partially filled in the auxiliary tank, and the cake valve selectively discharges the cake.
