PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transfer control unit for four-wheel drive vehicle that prevents phenomenon of tight corner braking and improves starting acceleration, while the system thereof made at a low cost carrying over a conventional onboard sensor. SOLUTION: A torque transfer controller 10 is designed to control transferring such that transmitted torque to rear wheels 7, 8 is limited to satisfy torque transfer adequate for two-wheel drive vehicle in a low opening region where an acceleration opening ACC is less than 1/8, and that torque transfer adequate for four-wheel drive vehicle is obtained in a high opening region where the acceleration opening ACC is at or greater than 1/8.
