PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a nose part of a stapler. SOLUTION: A stapler has a double structure in which a driver guide plate adapted to be mounted to the front surface of a nose 5, is composed of an inner driver guide plate 6 and an outer driver guide plate 7. The inner driver guide plate 6 with which a staple and the driver are made into contact, is formed of a thin rigid steel sheet, and the outer driver guide plate 7 is formed of a highly restorable spring material. By superposing the rigid driver guide plate and the highly elastic driver guide plate with each other, the rigidity and the elasticity can be ensured, thereby it is possible to provide the driver guide plate which is thin and lightweight.
