AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to improve efficiency of storing cooling energy by continuously storing cooling energy for predetermined time even if an engine stops. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioning case(110), an evaporator(101), a heater core(102), a condensed water storage(115), and a storage tank(140). The condensed water storage is installed on the bottom of the air conditioning case and stores the condensed water falling down from the evaporator. The storage tank installing inside the condensed water storage stores cooling water circulating in a heater core and heat exchanges between the condensed water storing in the condensed water storage and the cooling water. In cooling and heating mode, cooling and heating energy is stored in the cooling water of the storage tank and if an engine stops, the cooling water storing the heating and cooling energy is circulated in the heater core to prevent sudden change of air temperature discharging from the air conditioning case.
