The refining machine has refining machine curbings which have a frame around a central hole and at least one ilent for thread or sliver. The invention further relates to refining machine curbing which comprises at least one accentric inlet for thread or sliver. The inlet comprises the inlet hole with a slide on the flow side of the inlet, the slide serves to direct the thread or sliver from the inlet hole to the refining machine curbing surface.
