PURPOSE: A RADIUS(Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) system for controlling and authenticating an unlicensed wireless LAN having a web-based interface and a method thereof are provided to maximize user friendliness by offering a DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) sever function. CONSTITUTION: A DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server(40) has a function of automatically assigning IP information according to the request of a client. A certificate server(20) implements a standard RADIUS protocol and performs an EAP(Extensible Authentication Protocol) authentication process by transmitting a key after the EAP authentication process. The certificate server is interlocked with SIP(Session Initiation Protocol)-VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol) authentication, MAC+ID combination authentication, and a certificate. A user database(10) includes a database table which is generated based on a MySQL. The user database is interlocked with an external DB through an interface(11) interlocked with the DB. A web base management screen(30) for user centered visualization displays the state of the certificate server by graphic. |
