PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting switch for actuator, capable of detecting two positions of objects by a single position detecting switch. SOLUTION: The position detecting switch 6 for actuator is provided with a first and a second fixed contacts 30, 31; a common fixed contact 32; and movable contacts 46, 47, 48, 49, 51 on a first rotating member 44 and a second rotating member 50, where each of the first and the second fixed contacts 30, 31 can be switched and contacted electrically with respect to the common fixed contact 32, when the first rotating member 44 is rotated or counter-rotated with an output shaft 5 of the actuator 1 a plural number of times.
