FIELD: hydraulic engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention relates to hydraulic engineering, in particular, to equipment for removing oil from water body surface. Described is a skimmer which comprises a pipe 1 dipped vertically into the liquid with petroleum, the pipe has a displacer 2 wrapped around it. The inlet vale 3 is positioned in the upper end of the pipe 1and is a part of vertically-oriented rotor 5 with wind- and/or water-sensitive elements 6. The inlet valve 4 is positioned on the cylindrical surface of the pipe 1 and is a back-flow valve. ^ EFFECT: reduced damage caused to environment by petroleum and petroleum products pollution of water bodies. ^ 1 dwg. |
