FIELD: chemistry and pharmaceuticals industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine used for prevention and treatment of ophthalmologic diseases. Medicine is a solution for eyes. The ask is to create medicine containing 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxy pyridine succinate for local use as eye drops used for prevention and treatment of ophthalmologic diseases, not locally irritating, easy to use and stable for storage. The task is solved with creation of composition as eye drops containing containing 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxy pyridine succinate (0.5-4.0%) as active agent, polyvinyl pyrrolidone (0.5-4.0%) as lubricant, phosphate buffer (0.5-5.0%), sodium metabisulfites or sodium (0.1-0.8%) as antioxidant and water for injections up to 100%. The invention also describes experimentally received method of composition preparation excluding oxidation of 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-hydroxy pyridine succinate already at the preparation stage. ^ EFFECT: creation of medicine to prevent and treat ophtalmologic diseases. ^ 3 cl, 8 ex, 3 tbl, 1 dwg |
