PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening display method of a diaphragm valve easy to visually recognize opening. SOLUTION: An opening display is provided in sequence of a spring, a display board 12, a pointer 13 and a fixed plate 23, the spring is an integrally molded plate spring made of a plate part 30 to an interchange point T from a neighborhood D of a starting point B of the spring, a joining part 32 doubly superposed from the starting point B to the above D and a contact point 31 folded roughly in V letter or in U letter from the interchange point T to the above D, a lower end of the contact point is free to directly or indirectly make contact with an upper end part of a spindle 1 of the diaphragm valve, force to be increased or decreased in accordance with elevating motion of the spindle is transmitted as movement in the horizontal direction through a joining part on the plate part, the movement in the horizontal direction is converted to movement in the peripheral direction of a head end part E of the pointer by a pin 19 extended to a slit H of the plate part through a clearance C of the display board from a root part 16 of the pointer.
