PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain drier of reduced size having a sufficient drying capacity, on which maintenance can be done easily. SOLUTION: The grain drier 1 is provided with a rotary valve 2 for feeding grain by being alternately rotated normally and reversely and blowing hot air to a drying section to dry the grain. A center transfer spiral 3 for transferring the grain dropped from the rotary valve 2 is disposed at a position slightly shifted from just under the rotary valve 2 and a grain lifting spiral 5 for transferring the grain flowing down from the center transfer spiral 3 upward is disposed at a position located sideward of the center transfer spiral 3. A chute 4 connecting a bottom of a grain collecting chamber and an inlet of the grain lifting spiral is provided. The chute 4 can freely be installed on and removed from the grain lifting spiral and both ear parts at an upper part of the chute 4 are supported from below by a freely-openable spiral shutter member 15 mounted on a bottom of the center transfer spiral 3.
