PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter, which can be designed so that a door is easy to stop at the position of partitioning and the door can be returned automatically to the position of partitioning and also stopped at an arbitrary opening position only by changing the curvature of a cam face. SOLUTION: In the supporter for the swing door composed of a supporting shaft 1 for the door fixed onto a building 45 in an unturned manner and a bracket 10 fixed onto the door 45 bearing the supporting shaft 1, the bracket 10 is constituted in such a manner that a cam member 20, in which a plane shape has an approximately heart-shaped contour curve and to which a bearing hole 22 is formed, a roller member 25 rolled along the cam face 21 of the cam member 20 and a push spring 29 urging the roller member 25 against the cam member 20 are finished interiorly while the cam member 20 is fixed onto the supporting shaft 1 in the unturned manner.
