FIELD: electrical engeneering. ^ SUBSTANCE: gas-insulated high voltage switch with open installation of column type with sulfur hexafluoride contains support insulator installed on it, at least one arc suppressor placed in insulator; drive placed in the control cabinet on the ground potential and connected to arc suppressor with insulation connection inside the support insulator. The switch contains additional metallic thin-walls vessel (capacitor) located in the open air on the ground potential i.e. on the outer side of control cabinet and in upper part this vessel is connected by gas with inner space of switch and in lower part with the evaporator that is placed in the control cabinet and is outfitted with the heater and automatic system of its commutation for keeping stable gas density regardless of surrounding air temperature. Switch insulators are mostly of composite type. ^ EFFECT: possibility to use switches for the regions with cold climate, as well as increased effectiveness of arc suppression during operation in the regions with moderate climatic conditions due to possibility of increased operating gas pressure. ^ 6 cl, 3 dwg, 1 tbl |
