PURPOSE: A backlight unit and a liquid crystal display device thereof are provided to stably connect a PCB and a flexible cable of the backlight unit by forming a connection pattern in the PCB of a LED assembly and a corresponding opening hole in the flexible cable, respectively, and connecting the connection pattern and the opening hole by soldering. CONSTITUTION: A pad and a connection pattern are formed in one end of a light emitting diodes PCB in a longitudinal direction. A plurality of light emitting diodes(210) is mounted on the light emitting diode PCB A light emitting diodes driving circuit applies a driving voltage to a plurality of light emitting diodes. A flexible cable(230) applies the driving voltage to a plurality of light emitting diodes, on which an opening hole is formed. The connection pattern and the opening hole is fixed by soldering(330). |
