Particulate mixture comprises a matrix fraction and aggregate respectively constituted of particles having a size of = 50 mu m, the matrix particles and particles having a size of greater than 50 mu m, grains, the matrix fraction having more than 10 mass% to less than 45 mass% of the particulate mixture, where the particulate mixture comprises a chromium oxide content of 10-80 wt.% on the oxide base of the refractory mixture, and the matrix fraction is such that as given specification. Independent claims are included for: (1) a sintered product obtained by sintering the particulate mixture; and (2) a device containing a glass furnace, reactor, preferably a gasifier reactor, regenerator, and glass distribution channel comprising a block and/or a coating of a sintered product obtained from the particulate mixture.
