<p>PURPOSE: A position recognition method for an indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to detect entire indoor temperature distribution by grasping all the positions of the indoor unit installed in an indoor space accurately and conveniently without other devices. CONSTITUTION: A position recognition method for an indoor unit of an air conditioner is as follows. Positions of first indoor units are recognized by exchanging signals between a standard indoor unit installed at the specific location of an indoor space and at least one of first indoor units arranged around the standard indoor unit in an orthogonal state(S13). Position of second indoor units are recognized by exchanging signals between the first indoor units and at least one of the second indoor units arranged around the first indoor units in an orthogonal state(S23). The information recognized positions of the second indoor units is transmitted to the standard indoor unit through the first indoor units(S30).</p> |
