ON SCREEN DISPLAY GENERATOR AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An OSD(On Screen Display) generator is provided to efficiently express a plurality of OSD data on a screen. CONSTITUTION: A counter(403) counts the number of pixels. The counter outputs the location information of the counter. A domain controller(404) determines the area where the pixel is located based on the area information of divided images. A plurality of font controllers(406-1~406-n) are activated coping with each of area frames. The font controllers controls the font attribute of the OSD data which is displayed on each area. A font memory(401) stores the font data.
