POWER SUPPLY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly precharge a capacitor without using a precharge resistor and a precharge switch for bulk power.

SOLUTION: A power supply device for vehicle includes: a battery 1 for traveling which is constituted by connecting a plurality of battery cells 10; an output switch 2 which is connected to the output side of the battery 1 for traveling; and a precharge circuit 3 which precharges a capacitor 21 connected to the vehicle side. After the capacitor 21 is precharged by the precharge circuit 3, the output switch 2 is turned ON and the electric power is supplied to the vehicle side. The precharge circuit 3 includes a plurality of precharge switches 4 which connect points 11 of the plurality of battery cells 10 to the capacitor 21 and a control circuit 5 which controls ON/OFF of the plurality of precharge switches 4. The control circuit 5 turns ON and precharges one by one from the precharge switches 4 linked to the connection points 11 of low voltage side to the precharge switches 4 linked to the connection points 11 of high voltage side.
