<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce waste loss of products and increase sales of a shop. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: client information storage means 6 to store client identification information for identifying clients and address information for sending information to clients' information processing terminals; and product information storage means 5 to store product identification information for identifying products sold at a shop and sell-by date information on the products. The information processing system also includes: product extraction means 2 to extract products whose sell-by dates are expiring based on the sell-by date information; product information sending means 3 to send information indicating the products extracted by the product extraction means 2 to the addresses information on clients stored in the client information storage means 6; and benefit-offering means 4 to accept input of the product identification information on the products purchased at a shop and, when the purchased products are tha products extracted by the product extraction means 2, execute benefit-offering processing of offering predetermined benefits to clients purchasing the products. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
