<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound eliminating device and a sound eliminating method at a low cost, when fire breaks out at a facility providing service by using an acoustic device having an external speaker while the external speaker of the acoustic device is generating a sound, which allow a person receiving the service to hear an alarm sound generated by a fire alarm system. <P>SOLUTION: A sound eliminating device 1A in case of fire installed in a facility 3 providing service by using an acoustic device 31 provided with an external speaker 32, for eliminating a sound generated by the external speaker 32 of the acoustic device 31 in case of fire, the device comprises: a sound eliminating signal transmitter 10 connected to a fire alarm system 4 installed in the facility 3, for transmitting a sound eliminating signal when a receiver 43 of the fire alarm system 4 receives a fire signal; and a sound eliminator 20A connected to the sound eliminating signal transmitter 10 in such a manner that the sound eliminating signal can be received through a radio line, for eliminating the sound generated by the external speaker 32 when receiving the sound eliminating signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
